As a school community, we came together on Friday, September 30th, to honour the victims, survivors and communities of the residential school system. This day was also one to honour our Indigenous brothers and sister, listen, learn and educate together.
Every child matters.
We are proud of our Grade 6, 7 & 8 students that submitted stunning posters for the Markham Fair poster contest in the categories of Canadian Agriculture and Harvest, Free to Be Me and Showing Kindness.
St. Matthew CES placed 11th overall and brought home 17 wins for their amazing work.
