As we prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter Morning, the community of St. Matthew CES will be partnering with the Markham Food Bank to assist families in need during this season of Lent. We will be participating in a Lenten Food Drive during the week of March 27th-31st.
Food Banks and Food Pantries across York Region are continuing to support thousands of families per month. Donations of all types of food and/or toiletries are greatly needed. Your generosity during this time of year will ensure that families across York Region will be able to celebrate Easter with a sense of hope for the future.
Donation bins/boxes will be placed inside the main entrance of school where students can bring their donated items during the week of March 27th.
