Bullying Prevention Week Nov 18 – 22

We are excited to announce that November 18 – 22 will be Bullying Prevention Awareness week at SMW.  Throughout the week, students will engage in a variety of activities designed to foster empathy, respect and inclusivity within our community.

Parent – Teacher Interviews

Parents will be receiving their child’s Progress Reports via Parent Portal on Tuesday, November 12th.  Parent-Teacher interviews will take place on the evening of Thursday, November 14th and the morning of November 15th.

Friday, November 15th is also a P.A. Day.

Remembrance Day

On Monday, November 11th at 10:45 am, the St. Matthew school community will gather together for a Remembrance Day Liturgy led by our intermediate students. All are welcome to attend.

Halloween Spook-A-Thon

We’re looking forward to seeing students in their Halloween costumes this 

Thursday, October 31st and our annual Halloween Spook-a-Thon Fundraiser.  This is a great time of year to celebrate.

Math Parent Newsletter

The YCDSB Curriculum and Assessment Department has created the third of an ongoing bi-annual newsletter for families highlighting resources, tips, and activities that can be used at home to promote mathematics learning and facilitate mathematics discussions between students and parents/guardians.
