Black Canadian 365 Virtual Event

February 1st had staff and students participate in D.O. Gibson’s Black Canadian 365 event.  We look forward to welcoming D.O. Gibson to St. Matthew on Monday, February 27th at 1:15 p.m. for his H.O.L.L.A. St. John’s Ambulance Therapy Dogs Visit SMW!

What an amazing way to start the week by having St. John’s Ambulance Therapy Dogs visit with our FDK and Core Program students.

Students learned about dog safety and had the opportunity to engage in making new friends with therapy dogs, Addison, Dexter and Willow.

On Wednesday, November 2nd, it was an honour to welcome Lieutenant (Navy) Lesley Fox to St. Matthew CES.

A Successful Spook-A-Thon at SMW!

On Monday, October 31st, our incredible Catholic School Council, along with many dedicated parent volunteers, hosted St. Matthew’s Halloween Spook-A-Thon.

Students enjoyed a ‘haunted house’ designed by our Grade 8 students, as well as games organized and offered by Grade 7 students in Ms. Cannistra’s class.  Halloween activities, cookie decorating, prizes, music and more were part of fun-filled day!
