EQAO Webinar for Parents
EQAO is offering a live webinar where they will present the results of the 2022-2023 Primary (Grade 3) and Junior (Grade 6) Assessments of Reading, Writing and Mathematics. The session will also explain how Ontario’s large-scale assessments are administered. Parents will also learn about the latest research and resources available on eqao.com. Family Movie Night
St. Matthew’s would like to invite everyone to a Family Movie Night!
We will be watching the movie ELF in the school gym on Thursday December 19th starting @5:30pm.
Christmas Concert – Dec 17 @ 1:30pm
Come one come ALL! We are happy to announce the date for St Matthew’s Christmas Concert is Tuesday, December 17th @ 1:30pm. Doors open at 1:00pm and we are looking forward to a Jolly good time! All families are welcomed to attend and share in the festivities.
Sharing & Caring Drive
At St. Matthew School, we are proud to share the success of our annual Caring and Sharing program, which this year touched the hearts of many seniors in our community. Through the generous contributions of each classroom, essential items were collected to fill gift bags for local seniors.

Christmas Craft Day
The Catholic School Council is excited to announce our Christmas Fun Craft Day will be on Tuesday, December 10th! Students will be treated to a morning of Christmas craft decorating. Hot dog lunch will be offered for purchase on this day.

Advent marks the start of the liturgical year and occurs in the weeks leading up to Christmas. It is a time when we prepare our hearts and minds to welcome the birth of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world.
